Kalama is a community of 2000 residents nestled in foothills of Southwest Washington. Kalama is 30
miles north of Portland, OR. Mount Saint Helens steams and rumbles just 25 miles east of town.
Historic Buildings date from the turn of the 19th century when the railroad terminus was located in Kalama.
Many of the original homes
and buildings remain in excellent condition.
A walking tour of homes can be enjoyed in an
afternoon.

River from our public recreational area
allow visitors to see ocean-going ships pass just yards off shore.
